Darkwood provides a new perspective on survival horror. It is a dark, grim, desperate and creepy world, it feels very inspired and it's easy to get immersed into. The excellent graphics style and sound design work together to make a surprisingly intense atmosphere. The user interface is clear and simple, you won't have much trouble figuring it out. The crafting system is also straightforward. Enemies are diverse and have interesting strategies to deal with you. Some enemies go head on while others prefer to scare and mess with you. Strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a more open type of survival horror.
