Destiny 2

From the makers of the acclaimed hit game Destiny, comes the much-anticipated sequel!

In Destiny 2 players embark on a fresh story filled with new destinations around our solar system to explore, and an expansive amount of activities to discover. It is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. Destiny 2 features a more optimal way of matchmaking called “Guided Games”, which allows players to search for clans who may need additional players for activities, such as strikes or raids. Like the original, activities in Destiny 2 are divided among player versus environment (PvE) and player versus player (PvP) game types. There is something for almost every type of gamer in Destiny 2, including gameplay for solo, cooperative and competitive players set within a vast, evolving and exciting universe.

Destiny 2 Review

9 Total Score
Superb

Destiny 2 is a significant improvement over the original and its expansions in that the game makes more sense this time around. An improved expansion you’d say, but a magnificent one at that which nails the idea of what it means to forge a legend. The campaign entertains, classes are a blast, and settings are spectacular. The fact that, in Destiny 2, the moment to moment discovery around that immense sense of power is so much more refined is really promising, and we can’t wait to play more of the campaign, dive into Strikes – which only unlock once you’ve completed the story mode – and get stuck into competitive action in the Crucible. Thankfully, it turns out that Destiny 2 has listened to the fans and has taken a look in the mirror: the product is one that I –so far– thoroughly enjoy. Whether you're experienced in min-maxing Light levels, or you go in fresh looking to shield-smash an 8ft Centurion in the face, you've got a date with Destiny 2.
