Eastshade Review

Very Good

Eastshade is an original game. You could almost say that it's unique. By giving you a paintbrush (and a kettle) instead of a sword, Eastshade is a rare first-person open world game that's not about killing but rather about doing good deeds, helping people see the error of their ways, and bringing communities together all through the power of art. A charming traveling artist adventure which uses image capture in interesting ways. The best way to describe Eastshade is that of a relaxing Virtual Holiday into another dimension. The writing and voice acting are way above par, which is something that not enough developers seem to care about these days. The music is calming, the adventure is a load of fun. The characters you will meet are very likeable, and once it is time to leave Eastshade and go back home, you feel a sense of sadness. I recommend this game to anyone who loves to adventure. There is no combat in-game and it is a nice change from all those other games. A polished, immersive trek through a world so alluring it’s a shame it doesn’t actually exist, Eastshade is a must-play for anyone with the heart and mind to devote to this art-and-craft themed adventure.
