Football, Tactics & Glory Review

7.8 Total Score
Superb

Football, Tactics & Glory is a unique combination of turn-based mechanics, team development, tycoon-style games and football. It is polished and charmingly animated, with easy to read menus and a very helpful tutorial. It builds a real nice and addictive flow between the managing of your club and developing your team and the league and cup matches itself, which are played in a certain amount of turns where players of both teams can perform actions based on their skills. The cartoony style with insane face editor fits the game perfectly well. There is not much to do between matches, just a few options to train your players, do a couple of transfers per season, familiarize yourself with your opponent and you are basically ready to go. Then there is the match - a roller-coaster of dice rolling and tactical decisions. This game suits my interests perfectly so I don't have anything bad to say about it. All I can wish is continued support for this great game. I heavily encourage all football (and sports in general) / strategy lovers to take a look at this game and give it a go.
