Mix of Tetris and a light roguelike RPG. Build your own dungeon to explore!
Dungetris is an adventure indie game made by Max Efimov. Your task is to construct a castle piece-by-piece, using 31 cards to cast spells as you fight the residents of the dungeon. Dungetris is a fairly typical roguelike in terms of it’s high emphasis on RNG, brutal difficulty, and simple-yet-strategic combat mechanics. Where this game strays from the norm is it’s fantastic “dungeon tetris” mechanic. Fans of rogue-likes, dungeon crawling, deck building and tetris will all find something here to enjoy! Cartoonish graphics may make you think the game is casual and light, but it’s extremely addicting. You can follow the storyline or beat the records in the endless mode, still every run will be unique.

Dungetris is a very addictive combination of Desktop Dungeon-style balanced combat, Tetris-style puzzling, and rogue-like RNG. Dungetris has the following traits that make it a true rogue-like: it is brutal to new, unsuspecting players, and learning from your mistakes gives you a definite boost towards progressing through the campaign. The graphics are simple and well drawn and work surprisingly well with this type of game. Mechanics seem clean, mouse and keyboard responses are precise and quick. The combination of building the dungeon as you progress through each level makes it both unique and challenging and the card system works pretty well. Nice little game with fresh mechanics and great potential.
