Sprawling adventure platformer where you die a lot, but that’s ok because you are probably already dead anyway!
The End Is Nigh is an indie platformer made by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel where the player takes control over Ash, one of few “things” that have “survived” the “end of the world”. Features 600+ levels, 12+ explorable chapters, 20+ collectible and fully playable mini game cartridges and 80+ achievements. Follow Ash as he flops his way through a future of pain and suffering. The End Is Nigh Review
The End Is Nigh is another Edmund McMillen masterpiece. With his characteristic design tones and themes. Everyone is dead, and Ash (the hero) broke his last game cartridge, so it's time to do something about that! Death is a frequently occurring event but one you recover from quickly. Ash controls very well in the air and doesn't keep his momentum upon releasing a movement key. Music is fantastic and fits the levels difficulty and atmosphere perfectly. So far, the platforming feels great and the game has a pretty cool artstyle to it. This is a must-get if you are a fan of Super Meat Boy or platformers in general.
