The Allied infantry forces of the British Commonwealth and U.S. Army clash against the German Wehrmacht.
One of the unique aspects of Day of Infamy is its origin as a community project. Experience intense close-quarters WWII infantry combat, from the entrenched shores to the battered streets in Day of Infamy. There are a handful of soldier classes, each with a couple of weapons to choose. The Assault class has a nippy sub-machine gun, the Machine Gunner has a huge deployable bullet-monster, the engineer a hazardous flamethrower, and the Sniper his trusty scoped rifle. The game supports 32 player multiplayer, 8 player cooperative and single player missions – spread across six diverse environments and three distinct factions each with their own authentic arsenal. It contains the unique teamwork-oriented gameplay which sets Day of Infamy apart from other WWII shooters. Hold the line with your brothers-in-arms as enemy AI strategically advance on your position. Fall back and regroup to bring back your fallen comrades.
